I think it was the right thing to do by sending in the wooden horse to Troy. Because they did that the Greeks won the war. The war was the Greeks' to win, after all they're the ones who Helen was stolen from. I think it was a clever idea to send in that wooden horse to win thee war.

I think Achilles is weak. The reason for this thought is that he sends his best friend Patroclus into battle instead of himself. It shows that he is a coward, a big enough one that he puts his closest friend's life on the line by sending him into battle instead of himself. Even though he is giving Patroclus his armor he is still relying on someone else.
Another piece of evidence I found was that to have vengeance for Patroclus, Achilles drags Hector behind his chariot where ever he goes. Obviously Achilles is mad at Hector for killing his friend patroclus, but if Achilles didn't want Patroclus dead he wouldn't have sent him out into battle like he did. A good, fair warrior wouldn't have done that much to his enemy.

Black Ships Before Troy

My beliefs and thoughts to the question of this blog are that Paris shouldn't have taken Helen back to Troy. The effect of his actions has led to quarrel and war. During the war instead of having army to army fighting, Menelaus and Paris have a one to one combat. During their combat Aphrodite, the god of love, carries Paris back to his house. Because of that the armies fight against each other instead of having just a single combat. If Paris hadn't taken Helen, none of this war or quarrel would have happened, everything would be normal.
When Paris does things he only thinks of what he is currently doing and not the effect, which is why he is ignorant. He is young and has no experience with life and it's challenges.
